针对目前市场上多轴伺服系统接线繁琐、控制力不够、同步性不高等问题，将EtherCAT技术与多轴伺服系统相结合。在分析了EtherCAT高实时性、高同步性来源的基础上设计了以EtherCAT总线为核心的多轴伺服系统，选用LAN9252与freescale的Kinetis KV56芯片作为从站的ESC与MCU，以倍福公司研发的软件TwinCAT作为整个系统的主站并设计PLC程序及HMI界面。在500 μs的周期下，以虚拟主轴的控制方式控制三轴同步运动，测试结果表明，主站发送周期抖动区间为-14 μs~12 μs，从站之间的同步性能为ns级，性能良好，满足实际应用需求。通过实验证明了EtherCAT技术能够有效地提升多轴伺服系统各轴之间地同步性与实时性。
