1.这本书页数不多。但侧重点也不多,从目录可以看出,它不像APUE一样,对*nix系统编程做了全面的描述。但对于书中所包含的IO,Memory,Process Control等系统都有较为深入的讲解。 2.IO相关的章节是这本书的亮点 3.与APUE相比,APUE更像是告诉你,事物究竟是什么,然后你来做,而这本书,字里行间都透漏着Robert Love大牛的叮嘱,寄希望于以自己的经验,告诉你,应该怎么做。 4.这本书更适合Linux(看题目就知道这更像是当然的),书中描述了许多Linux下才存在的系统调用。而更为可贵的是,所有的系统调用,作者都阐述了跨平台和兼容性的问题。 5.这本书的中文的翻译没有水平上的问题,但是书中存在许多让人哭笑不得的非翻译专业性的问题。翻译的态度和校对的态度让人有些质疑。 6.同APUE一样,这本书也是常读常新,值得放在手边,用作参考。 7.Robert Love大牛写的书,哪本不值得读?
