Analytical Methods in Fuzzy Modeling and Control

This book does not contain an elementary mathematics of fuzzy systems such as fuzzy sets, operations on fuzzy sets, Boolean logic, triangular norms (tnorms), t-conorms, implications, fuzzy relations, fuzzy reasoning methods, the fuzzy controller architecture, the Mamdani type fuzzy controller, etc., because of the flood of papers and books on these topics. It is assumed that the reader is familiar with the fundamentals of the fuzzy modeling and with the foundations of Boolean logic and conventional control methods, including PID control.
