本文基于驱动模式和分工形式，即影响东道国制造业GVC演变的两条路径，构建了一种机制，研究它们对中国对外直接投资区位战略的影响，然后以中国的对外直接投资来验证理论假设。 2003年至2014年期间，欧盟26个成员国和13个制造子行业的OFDI库存为样本。 综合广义最小二乘（GLS）估计获得的经验结果表明，从GVC驱动模型的角度来看，高科技水平，生产者驱动模型下的丰富人力资本以及基于买方驱动下的巨大市场潜力模式是影响中国在欧盟成员国中对OFDI位置选择的重要因素。 从全球价值链分工的角度来看，较高的垂直专业化水平和东道国在制造业子行业中的全球价值链地位吸引了中国投资的流入。
