本资源为WRS2全球条带号分幅情况SHP文件。WRS，即Worldwide Reference System，是Landsat系列卫星全球影像标记符号系统，用以区分全球各区域对应的Landsat系列卫星影像编号；其用“Path”与“Row”两个数值确定影像的编号与位置。其中，Landsat 1、2、3卫星对应编号系统为WRS-1，Landsat 4、5、7、8卫星对应编号系统为WRS-2。WRS-2包括降轨Descending（白天星，也就是在当地时间的白天过境）与升轨Ascending（黑夜星，也就是在当地时间的黑夜过境）两种模式。
