The software described here is intended for the configuration and commissioning of the AS-In- terface safety monitor with the use of a PC. By means of an easy-to-use user interface, the AS-Interface safety monitor can be configured in combination with safe AS-Interface slaves, such as emergency shutdown switches, safety gate switches, protective photoelectric sensors etc., within an AS-Interface bus system to pro- vide safeguarding of the danger areas present at power-driven machinery.
